FDI Worth 100 bn USD Expected in 2 Years, Says Suresh Prabhu

Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu said that the government is looking to receive 100 billion USD of foreign direct investments (FDI) in the next 2 years. In addition to that, efforts are also being made to set up special industrial clusters for various countries including Russia, Japan, China, and South Korea. 

The Union Minister said that he has given a target of 100 billion USD which can be achieved through multiple sectors that have been identified by the ministry. He also said that they will organize roadshows to attract investors in foreign countries.
