CAIT Raises Various Demands with PM Narendra Modi

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has sent a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the various problems in the trade industry today and are raising several demands that may resolve the issues.

In the letter that was written by CAIT Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal, he said that there is a dire need for an e-commerce policy, a national policy for retail trade, and incentives for digital payments. He said that the e-commerce industry had created an uneven playing field by using tactics like loss funding and deep discounting which is why an e-commerce policy must be created to overhaul the country’s retail trade.
