Automation Impact Not Seen Yet, 76% of Companies Look to Increase or Maintain Headcount

Amid the rising concerns about artificial intelligence and automation taking up the jobs, a new survey has revealed that 76% of employers in India want to increase or at least maintain their current headcount. Globally, the figure stands at 87%. 

The report by ManpowerGroup that’s based on 19,000 employers said that companies are digitalizing and growing by creating new kinds of jobs. It also said that global talent shortage is at a 12-year high and new skills are emerging as fast as the old ones disappearing.
