UP to Build World’s Largest Expressway of 600 Km

Uttar Pradesh Government has unveiled a 600-km Ganga Expressway project that will be the world’s largest access controlled expressway and connect Prayagraj to Western Uttar Pradesh. 

The greenfield expressway project whose estimated cost is ₹30,000 crores was approved by the UP cabinet under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath.

Adityanath talked to the media after approving the project and said that it will require around 6,556 hectares of land to connect Prayagraj with Meerut via Bulandshahar, Kannauj, Unnao, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, and Pratagarh districts.
