UK Universities Want to Strengthen Ties with Indian Counterparts

The CEO of UK India Business Council (UKIBC) Kevin McCole said that the universities based in the United Kingdom are looking to deepen ties with universities and companies in India. He said that the council is trying to ease the norms in India for the same reason.

McCole said that the council is gearing up the launch of an online platform in March which will help Indian companies find the skills they need from UK universities. He also said that currently only 200 of the top globally ranked universities are allowed to collaborate with Indian universities.
