Proposals Worth ₹2.84 Trillion Generated in 5th Bengal Global Business Summit

As the 5th edition of Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) came to an end, the state saw the proposed investments standing at ₹2.84 trillion. This marks a 29.68% investment growth from the previous year when the government received investments worth ₹2.19 crores. 

On the last day of BGBS, Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee said that the government signed 86 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and attended 1,200 business meetings and 45 business to consumer meetings.
