Punjab National Bank’s MD and CEO Usha Ananthasubramanian, who was divested of her powers a few months ago following the massive Rs. 14,000 crores PNB fraud is now dismissed as per the government’s orders. She was named in the CBI chargesheet in connection with the fraud, as she had allegedly failed to exercise proper control over the functioning of the bank which led to one of the biggest frauds in the history of the banking sector.
