Now Instagram Users Can Buy Things Directly via the App

Photo-sharing app Instagram is testing a new shopping feature called Checkout with select retailers like Nike Inc. which allows the users to purchase various products that they find on the app with the app itself rather than visiting the websites of the retailers.

Instagram’s head of product Vishal Shah said that the new feature could become a key component of its business since the company has been “creating value for people”. However, the said that the financial details of the feature won’t be revealed until next year.
