Mehul Choksi Releases Video in Defence, Says Allegations False

Mehul Choksi, who is one of the main accused in the Punjab National Bank’s ₹13,000 crores scam recently answered some questions asked by news agency ANI in a video and claimed that the charges against him are false. He said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is making false allegations and that the attachment of his properties is without any basis.

Choksi is currently living in Antigua of which he obtained the citizenship last year itself. However, due to his involvement in the PNB scam, the government has asked him to come to India to face trial.
