Around INR 301.63 billion worth of farm loans of 2.3 million farmers in Karnataka will be waived off as the Karnataka cabinet has given a nod on the same.

Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that the government has already issued a Government Order (GO) on cooperative bank farm loan waiver and is currently working on issuing the same for the nationalized banks as well.
