Leaving Mumbai Behind, Delhi Makes it to the Top 10 Best Performing Metropolitan Economies

Although Mumbai is considered the financial hub of India, it’s the national capital Delhi which was included in the list of top 10 best performing metropolitan economies as per the 2018 edition of Global Metro Monitor.
The report said that Delhi has a high living standard and stands at the 6th position on the list which was topped by Dublin and includes 5 cities from China alone.
Delhi has the second largest metro area in the world but its per capita income is $18,600 which is thrice the national average.
