Job Creation Challenged by Funds’ Shortage: Economic Affairs Secretary

Economic Affairs Secretary Subhash Chandra Garg said that India is more troubled by the shortage of capital than jobs. He said that even though the majority of people have jobs, the problem is that many of them aren’t earning enough.

Garg said job creation is limited by the shortage of funds which are required for more investments and thus, jobs. He said economic activities help in the generation of jobs which is why the government needs to take more steps to grow the economy and launch new programs to increase investment in the country.
