India Looking to be Among World’s Top 3 Economies in 15 Years, Says PM Modi

This Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will soon grow to become a 5 trillion USD economy. He was present in Seoul, South Korea on a two-day visit when he addressed the Indian diaspora there and said that he wants to see India to be counted among the top 3 economies of the world in the next 15 years.

Modi said that the government took several steps like MUDRA Scheme, Goods and Services Tax (GST), etc. that can lead India on the path of growth. He said that today India is the fastest growing economy in the world, adding that while it’s on the 6th position today, it won’t be long before it moves to the 5th position.
