Hiring Budgets to be Increased by 34% This Year

According to the report “State of Talent Acquisition 2019” by Mercer-Metti, Indian companies are expected to be increasing their hiring budgets by as much as 34% this year. An increase of 31% is also expected in hiring volumes against the 25% of last year, it said.

The report said that technology is used extensively in sourcing candidates at 88% of the time, although it is used 49% of the time when boarding the candidates. It also said that the talent acquisition process faces the lack of budget as the biggest obstacle in the implementation of technology.
