West Bengal government’s Finance Minister Amit Mitra said that faulty implementation of GST and demonetization has cost the Indian economy around 4.75 lakh crores. He also chided the government’s initiative to sanction up to ₹1 lakh crore worth of loans to MSMEs in 59-minutes and called it a mere “gimmick”.
