Government Did Create Jobs as There Has Been no Major Agitation in 5 Years, says Arun Jaitley

Dismissing the complaints of a “jobless economic growth”, Union Minister Arun Jaitley said that the government has actually provided ample jobs which is evident by the fact that there has been no major social agitation in the past five years i.e. since the NDA government came to power. He said that it’s not like the productivity of the organizations has suddenly increased in five years and that they are now functional with just half of the staff.
Jaitley’s remarks come at a time when an official government document has reportedly leaked that says that unemployment rate was at a four-decade high in FY18.
