Blamed for Data Breach, Facebook Looks to Review its Data Policy

Social media giant Facebook was recently accused of providing its users’ personal information to its business partners. However, it denied the allegations and said that it’s been transparent with the users regarding the forms of data it can share with its business partners like Netflix, Dropbox, Amazon, etc.

Facebook’s director of developer platforms and programs, Konstantinos Papamiltiadis, said that the company was public with the features and partnerships that it had with other tech giants. However, he said they do need to review the APIs to implement tighter management.
