Bhilwara Mahila Urban Co-Operative Bank’s Licence Cancelled by RBI

Central Bank RBI has cancelled the license of Bhilwara Mahila Urban Co-operative bank with effect from August 31, 2018. It said that the Rajasthan-based bank didn’t show any earning prospects and lacked the sufficient capital to sustain the business.   

RBI said that with the license of Bhilwara Mahila Bank cancelled, Rajasthan is barred from conducting any banking business including repayment and acceptance of deposits.
