8.7% of Global Online Ad Frauds Committed in India

According to a report by analytics firm techARC, up to 6 billion USD is stolen from advertisers every year through ad fraud. It said that around 8.7% of the worldwide ad frauds in 2018 were contributed by India which has a market size of 1.64 billion USD.
The report said that 51% of the total ad frauds in India were contributed by ecommerce websites followed by travel websites which made for around 26% of ad frauds. It also said that ad frauds in India are expected to increase by 23% this year.
