1.11 cr Farmers Register on e-NAM to Take Business Online

In a recent Lok Sabha session, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan said that more than 1.11 crore farmers across India have signed up on the e-NAM platform which allows them to sell their produce online. He said that the service allows them to sell produce on the Internet and enjoy transparent pricing and online payment facility. 

Mohan also said that 585 “mandis” have been added to the e-MAN platform where the farmers can sell their produce.
