World Bank to Loan Rs. $125 to India for Inclusiveness Project

The government has signed an agreement with the World Bank as per which it will offer 125 million US dollars in loan for the “Innovate in India for Inclusiveness” project.

The project aims at giving a boost to the commercialisation process and encouraging local manufacturing and industrial innovation. It will focus on innovative healthcare product development by supporting public, private, as well as academic institutions in overcoming the major market hurdles that come in the way of creating healthcare equipment and services in the country.
