World Bank to Loan $210 mn to India for MP Roads

As per a recent agreement that was signed between India and the World Bank, the latter is going to sanction a massive loan of USD 210 million for Madhya Pradesh’s rural connectivity.

The funds will be used for Chief Minister’s Gram Sadak Yojana (CMGSY) programme through a project covering 10,510 km of the rural roads in the state. Out of this stretch, 10,000 km of roads will be upgraded, and 510 km will be new roads constructed from scratch.
