WhatsApp Payments to Offer 24-hr Customer Support Service

WhatsApp, which currently has over 200 million users in India is working on introducing a 24-hour customer support system for its payments services. It’s expected to be launched within a few weeks.
WhatsApp said that under the new service, customers will be able to contact the support team through a toll-free number or email. The languages that will be supported initially are English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
A WhatsApp spokesperson said that the IM app is closely working with the bank partners, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the government itself regarding its services.
