UP Govt to Ban Plastic from July 15

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a statewide ban on plastic from mid-July. This comes in just a few weeks after Maharashtra imposed a plastic ban in the state.

Adityanath said that the use of plastic cups, glasses, and polythene are banned in UP, effective from July 15. He made the announcement through a Tweet in which also urged the citizens to work together to make the initiative successful.
