British Deputy High Commissioner Bharat Joshi said that the United Kingdom is pushing for more investments in India “rather than focusing on individual big deals”.

Joshi said that nearly 5,550 jobs were created in the UK by Indian companies and 5% of the jobs in the formal sector were created by UK companies in India. He also said that investments from Kerala and Tamil Nadu were high in the UK and more and more IT firms are setting up back offices here to expand their global businesses.
