Uber Offers One-on-One Coaching with Top Management

Unlike most corporations that offer coaching sessions to the new staff by third-party professionals or in-house mid-level employees, cab-aggregator company Uber offers one-on-one training sessions by senior employees from the upper management.
In a recent interview, Uber’s HR director of Asia Pacific region Vishpala Reddy said that since Uber has relatively less experience in the market internationally, it considers people management extremely important. She said that the personal training is provided through both offline and online modules depending on the location of coach and the employee. She also said that the management team is certified to train the employees.
