Targeting “Top 50” Rank in Ease of Doing Business Next Year, Says PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was recently addressing the audience at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit said that India is looking to be included in the list of top 50 countries in “ease of doing business” index next year. 

Modi said that India has jumped 75 places in the ease of doing business list to secure the 77th position now. He said that he has asked his team to work harder so that the nation can find itself in the top 50 ranks next year. He also said that his government has made doing business cheaper today and looks to set up norms that are comparable to the developed economies.
