Talent Shortage Resulted in Vacant 4,000 Jobs in Artificial Intelligence

A joint study conducted by Analytics India Magazine and online education platform Great Learning shows that more than 4,000 mid-level and senior-level positions in artificial intelligence (AI) roles are yet to be filled due to a shortage of qualified professionals.

The study also found that 57% of the hiring companies are looking for candidates who have at least 5 years of experience in artificial intelligence. However, the average experience of Indian professionals in that domain is just 3 years.

The study said that the AI industry has grown 30% in the last year alone but there isn’t enough talent to fill the job roles that are available.
