Share Value of Adani Group Continues to Fall after Denied Compensation for Higher Coal Price

After the Supreme Court’s verdict of not giving any compensatory tariff to Adani group and Tata Power, the share values continue to fall. As per the Apex law, the companies will be compensated for the change in law, and a committee is looking into same.
Adani Power lost around 9 percent of its value making to 11,000 crores in last two trading sessions.
Adani Enterprises also saw a downfall of 5.4 percent in shares, along with Adani Transmission which lost 18.7 percent in last two sessions, while Adani Ports & SEZ has lost 6.7 percent.
As per Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani, the tenth richest billionaire in the country, has a net worth of $6.7 Billion.
