SBI May Save Rs. 30 cr Every Year Due to Solar, Wind Power Investments

Public sector State Bank of India (SBI) said that by investing in renewable energies in India, it’s saved nearly Rs. 125 crores in the past 8 years.
The bank said that it has set up 10 windmills of 1.5 MW capacity each which helped maintain the massive savings, and now with more investments, it’s going to save Rs.30 crores on an annual basis.
SBI said it owns a power capacity of 21.23 MW in total in renewable resources, and by increasing it to 25 MW it will be able to save Rs. 30 crores every year.
