Recent CIBIL Survey Shows More Indians have Become Responsible Credit Users
April 14, 2017
According to a recent TransUnion CIBIL survey that covered 1,1000 consumers from 8 different cities of India, 78% of them were paying their monthly credit card bills in full. This reflects the lowest delinquency rate ever, as per TransUnion CIBIL.
Harshala Chandorkar, who is the COO of CIBIL, said that the delinquency rate has gone down considerably over the last few years, which is a good sign for the credit card industry. The delinquency rate has improved from December 2015’s 1.65 % to in December 2016’s 1.51 % which reflects a stable performance if anything.
