RBI Staff to go on Mass Leave in September

This Monday, United Forum of Reserve Bank Officers and Employees held a silent demonstration near the central bank’s office to raise demands over pension-related issues. The members have also decided to go on a mass casual leave on September 4 and 5.

The forum’s demands include the allowance of Contributory Provident Fund (CPF)/additional provident fund for those appointed from 2012, updating of pension for CPF retainers, and a similar few others. In relation to this, it will submit a memorandum to the appropriate regional directors of all the RBI centres on August 27.
