PwC to Invest ₹100 cr in Digital R&D, Hire 1,000 Professionals

World’s second largest professional services firm PwC is looking to invest as much as ₹100 cr for the development of digital solutions and R&D. It will also hire around 1,000 digital tech experts over the course of the next 3 years to help develop advanced digital solutions for customers and internal teams. 

PwC has already launched 40 tech solutions in finance, compliance and tax, and digital areas which are centred around new-age technologies like artificial intelligence and cloud computing. 

PwC partner Sivarama Krishnan said that the company is aiming to build a digital ecosystem that can solve the clients’ problems with a simple plug-and-play approach. He said that it’s also working to revamp the delivery model to get results for the clients quickly.
