PMO taking next step under "Housing for All"

PMO taking next step under

The Prime Minister’s office is expected to hold a meeting with the agenda of reviewing the housing program this week. The target of this program which is counted in “Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana” is to provide affordable houses by 2022.
The PMO has called CREDAI and NAREDCO, among the realtors’ body in order to understand the reasons and problems that are being faced for launching affordable housing projects.
CREDAI is to make a presentation on how to hasten this project and enable the people purchasing houses to encash the subsidy benefits under “Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana”.
