Over 50,000 Jobs in AI, Data Science Vacant Due to Talent Shortage

Kari Krishnan Nair who is the co-founder of online and hybrid education company Great Learning said that there are more than 50,000 vacancies in AI, machine learning, and data science that are yet to be filled. He said that there are twice the number of jobs available as compared to job seekers, and that the professionals must equip themselves with new skills to qualify for these jobs. He also said that what’s being taught in the colleges isn’t what’s used in the industry today.
