NHAI to Sign MoU with SBI for Rs. 25,000 cr Loan

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is going to sign an MoU with public sector State Bank of India (SBI) for a loan of Rs. 25,000 crores today. This would be the largest long-term unsecured loan ever approved by the bank in history. 

NHAI, in an official statement, said that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with SBI for the loan for 10 years which will also have 3 years of moratorium period. It will be processed in the presence of Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari.
