National Logistics Portal to Improve Trade Competitiveness: Commerce Ministry

The Commerce Ministry said that the development of a National Logistical Portal is underway with the aim to improve ease of trading in both international and domestic markets. 

Commerce and Industry Minister, Suresh Prabhu said that India is targeting to lower the logistics costs to less than 10% of its GDP by 2022 from the current 14% of GDP. He said that the portal will bring all the trade activities on a single platform and connect all the stakeholders of domestic and import-export trade with each other.
