Massive 3 cr Bharat Bill Payments Registered in March

Domestic bill payment system Bharat Bill Payment reported a 67% year-over-year growth in March in the number of transactions processed. Last year, the total number of transactions was 18 million. However, now they have jumped to a whopping 30 million.
A product of the Reserve Bank of India, Bharat Bill Payment is managed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NCPI) and consists of 75 billers in 5 different categories. It was created to make bill payments easier for the customers.
