Maharashtra, Airbnb to train 500 People Under Entrepreneurship Programme

The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has joined hands with community-driven hospitality company Airbnb to roll out a tourism entrepreneurship accelerator programme which will train nearly 500 people in its first phase.

The program is set to be launched in Elephanta village where around 35 homes will be identified by both MTDC and Airbnb to be organized as per the standards of the latter.

The program aims at helping the budding entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry to grow their business by improving four key areas viz. training, enabling, access, and promotion.
