Lack of Talent Led to 97,000 Vacant Positions in Data Science, Analytics

According to a new study published by ed-tech company Great Learning, around 97,000 jobs in data science and analytics are yet to be filled due to the shortage of talent. It said that a large number of these jobs are for junior level roles and that the total number of unfilled positions have increased by 45% from last year.

The study said that the organizations that have posted the higher number of job openings this year are Honeywell, Dell International, Amazon, Accenture, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, eClerx Services, and E&Y.
