Jan Dhan Deposits to Hit ₹90,000 cr Mark

As per the data shared by the finance ministry, the total deposits in Jan Dhan accounts are projected to cross ₹90,000 crores soon as the government is working to making the scheme more attractive by taking measures like doubling the insurance cover to ₹2 lakhs.
The data shows that on January 30, 2019, the total deposits in Jan Dhan accounts stood at ₹89,257.57 crores. There are more than 341 million account holders under the same as of today.
