Internet Influenced 90% of Auto Sales in India in 2018

According to Google’s “The Drive to Decide 2018” annual report, around 90% of car purchases were digitally driven, up from 78% in 2016. It says that dealer/brand websites, videos, and online searches played the biggest role in influencing a customer’s decision.
The report says that today, 90% of auto buyers look for information online to make an informed decision about their purchase. It also says that video has also started to play a key role as the online video usage has nearly doubled to 80% today against 43% in 2016.
