Insurance Processes to Become 100% Paperless Soon

As the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) looks to release notifications on the insurance repositories next month, reports say that the physical insurance policies for the majority of products shall be eliminated from the system. This means that the insurance processes will be 100% paperless and customers will be able to save money, monitor investments with convenience and ease.

At present, the paperless or digital process offered by insurers for select policies is only optional. IRDAI is to soon release clarifications on policies that have to be digitized.
