India’s First Jewelry Park to be Set Up in a 21 Acres Area in Mumbai

Today, the Maharashtra government will lay the foundation stone of India’s first jewelry park in Navi Mumbai. It will be developed on co-operative housing model basis and house as many as 4,800 large and small units.

Last year, the gems and jewelry sector had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government. Under that, 21 acres of land was sanctioned by the government for the jewelry park.
