India’s First B.Tech Course in Artificial Intelligence Unveiled in IIT Hyderabad

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad has become the first institute in India to offer an engineering course in artificial intelligence for the 2019-20 batch onwards. There are only two other institutes around the world that offer a similar course- Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Carnegie Mellon University.

The course will be provided to only 20 students who can qualify on the basis of their ranks in JEE-Advanced. It will focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning, but will also cover other areas like privacy and bias.
