India to Benefit as China Removes Import Duties on 28 Medicines

China has exempted import duties on around 28 medicines which include a large number of cancer drugs, with effect from May 1. As a result, India can look forward to an improved revenue generation through exports in the coming months.
Lou Zhaohui, who is China’s Ambassador to India tweeted that the move is beneficial to India’s pharmaceutical industry and may bring down trade imbalance between the two nations in the future.
