India Slips to 6th Position in Business Optimization Index

Grant Thornton’s quarterly global business survey in its International Business Report said that India has slipped to 6th position in business optimization index for Q1 FY19. However, the nation was topping the same since 2014 when the NDA government came into power.
The survey took into account nearly 2,500 businesses in 37 countries. With a score of 89, India managed to get the 6th position. The top 5 economies on the list were Austria, Finland, Indonesia, Netherlands, and the USA.
