India Moving Closer to Becoming Most Data-Rich Country, Says Richard Heald

Richard Heald who is the group CEO of the UK India Business Council (UKIBC) said that India is gradually moving towards becoming one of the most data-rich countries in the world.
Heald gave an interview recently in which he shed light on some of the most important details from his report Data: The foundation of intelligent economies. He said that the introduction of GST, Jan Dhan accounts, Aadhaar, etc. can generate massive volumes of data and used for all kinds of business activities. He also said that the Indian government is aiming to deliver 40% of all services that use Artificial Intelligence (AI) through Indian companies in the next few years.
