India 58th Most Competitive Economy in WEF Index

According to the latest Global Competitiveness Report, India is the 58th most competitive economy on the World Economic Forum’s global competitive index. That’s up by 5 places since last year. 

The US topped the list followed by Singapore and Germany that secured the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. However, India’s top rival China was ranked at the 28th position. 

The report said that India was making tremendous progress in all areas of competitiveness save for education, skills, and health.
