Govt Saved ₹90,000 cr By Removing Fake Beneficiaries: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was recently speaking at a public rally in Odisha, said that by identifying and removing 60 million bogus beneficiaries, the government has been able to save as much as ₹90,000 crores so far. He said that around 60 million ration cards, student scholarships, gas connections, etc. were cancelled in the past 4 years and that his efforts in the interest of the poor are enraging the people who used to loot public money.

Modi said that 100% of ration cards are digitalized today and 80% of cards have been seeded with Aadhaar cards.
